SKIFY: one system for sales, export and transport instead of entering the same order up to 7 times
A group of pallet-producing companies had never used a CRM: sales, logisticians and accountants re-entered the same order data several times across Excel, 1C:8 and BAS ERP. SYNTECH built one Creatio workspace for sales, weekly shipment planning and transport, integrated with 1C both ways.
About the client
SKIFY produces standard and non-standard wooden pallets at several plants and sells them to Ukrainian and foreign companies, often through tenders. Export deliveries run on DAP and DDP terms and require invoices, CMR, phytosanitary certificates and customs declarations.
The challenge
- ✕No CRM: the ERP was not suitable for the sales team's daily work.
- ✕The same information was entered repeatedly — by sales managers 2–4 times, by logisticians up to 3 times and by sales accountants 3–7 times.
- ✕Weekly loading plans by plant and customer lived in one Excel file, and export transport orders in another.
- ✕Incoming requests and outgoing proposals were forgotten; contracts and specifications got lost.
- ✕Each legal entity had its own 1C:8 database, with a consolidated BAS ERP on top.
The solution
Sales and orders in Creatio
- •Leads, customers, contracts, specifications and orders are managed in one system with a full customer history.
- •Requests and proposals can no longer get lost in email or messengers.
Weekly shipment planning
- •A custom Freedom UI component replaces the Excel loading plan: planned volumes by plant and customer orders by week.
- •Loadings that do not happen are moved to the next week or cancelled directly in the plan.
Transport and logistics
- •Sales managers create transport requests for logisticians in Creatio.
- •Vehicles and carriers are tracked per shipment, including export deliveries.
Two-way 1C integration
- •Counterparties and product stock balances are synchronized between Creatio and 1C.
- •Closing documents (waybills) and transport service payments flow back from 1C to Creatio.
- •The full flow was tested on real data migrated from 1C before go-live.
Results
- Order data is entered once in Creatio instead of being re-typed by sales, logistics and accounting.
- Weekly shipment planning moved from Excel to a shared, real-time view.
- Requests, proposals, contracts and specifications are stored with the customer and cannot be lost.
- Management gets a basis for tracking sales KPIs: volumes, prices vs. minimum and overdue payments.
