EURO 5 OPT: fuel trading on Creatio — leads, oil depot storage, margin and bank payments in one system
A fuel and lubricants trader had no single customer base and calculated margin and cost in Excel. SYNTECH implemented Creatio for the full cycle — from lead search in registries to shipment — with automatic storage requests to oil depots, two-way 1C integration and automatic bank payment matching.
About the client
EURO 5 OPT trades fuels and lubricants wholesale. Purchases are made in UAH, USD or EUR, sales in UAH, and each deal depends on product batches stored at oil depots, delivery terms and logistics costs.
The challenge
- ✕No unified database of customers and leads.
- ✕Margin and cost were calculated manually in Excel.
- ✕No automatic reporting for management.
The solution
Lead lifecycle
- •Managers find prospects in YouControl and open-data registries and register leads in Creatio.
- •An approved lead is converted into a counterparty, a contact and a contract in one click.
- •If a prospect postpones, Creatio creates a follow-up task for the return date.
Orders, batches and oil depots
- •A storage request is sent to the oil depot automatically from Creatio.
- •The manager links a product batch to the customer order and starts the shipment process; shipment waybills are uploaded to CRM.
- •For DDP deliveries the process goes through a logistician to calculate the rate.
Finance integrations
- •Two-way 1C integration for invoices, payments, stock balances and documents.
- •Bank API integration (OTP Bank or PUMB) with automatic payment matching.
- •Multi-currency deals: sales in UAH, purchases in UAH, USD or EUR.
Results
- Margin and cost are calculated in the system per deal instead of Excel.
- One customer and lead base with a controlled lifecycle.
- Storage requests, shipments and payments are linked to orders.
- Management reporting is built on live CRM data.
