    Syntech Portfolio Insights 1.2.0: Matrix and Grid Views

    A simple list of projects is not enough for portfolio visibility

    A portfolio can contain dozens of projects, several teams, different roles, competing priorities, and limited resources.

    Sales & CRM automation

    Pipeline, customers, operations and analytics driven by processes, not spreadsheets.

    Solutions in this category

    In a traditional list, you can see the status, responsible person, deadline, or budget for each initiative. However, this format doesn't always help understand how workload and available capacity are distributed across the entire portfolio.

    This leads to a common management problem: the organization has the necessary data, but managers cannot quickly see where resource conflicts or capacity limitations are forming.

    In Syntech Portfolio Insights for Creatio 1.2.0, this problem is solved with two new visualization formats: Matrix View and Grid View.

    What's New in Version 1.2.0

    Version 1.2.0, released on September 16, 2026, extends the capabilities of Syntech Portfolio Insights for portfolio planning.

    The new matrix and grid representations help analyze:

    • available capacity;

    • workload;

    • resource allocation;

    • team utilization;

    • resource usage in projects;

    • distribution by roles;

    • planned data for different periods.

    These interactive representations give portfolio managers and executives additional context regarding the allocation of people and resources.

    Teams can work with data directly in Creatio, without reviewing each project separately or transferring information to external spreadsheets.

    Matrix View for multi-dimensional portfolio analysis

    A portfolio decision rarely depends on just one metric.

    For example, a manager might need to compare teams with projects, roles with periods, or available capacity with planned workload.

    Matrix View organizes information across multiple dimensions. This helps analyze relationships between portfolio elements and identify situations where resource demand does not match their availability.

    Using this view, you can seek answers to questions such as:

    • Which teams have the highest workload?

    • How are resources distributed across projects?

    • Which roles will be needed during the selected period?

    • Where might limited capacity affect project execution?

    • Which parts of the portfolio require management attention?

    The visual representation of these relationships simplifies the analysis of complex portfolio data.

    Grid View for structured planning data

    Grid View provides a structured format for viewing detailed portfolio information.

    It is useful when you need to compare planned data for several projects, teams, roles, or periods in a single, consistent format.

    Grid View complements Matrix View: one representation helps find patterns and interconnections, while the other allows for detailed viewing and comparison of data.

    Together, they provide greater flexibility in various portfolio management scenarios.

    Centralized workspace for portfolio management

    Matrix View and Grid View extend the existing capabilities of Syntech Portfolio Insights for Creatio.

    The component creates a centralized workspace for planning, monitoring, and managing strategic initiatives, programs, projects, and investments.

    Portfolio Overview for Executives

    Stakeholders can track strategic initiatives, execution statuses, risks, and investment allocation in one place.

    This reduces reliance on disparate reports and creates a shared vision of portfolio performance.

    Portfolio Hierarchy

    The interactive hierarchy shows relationships between portfolios, programs, and projects.

    Users can navigate between portfolio levels and explore its structure without losing the overall context.

    Project Quick Overview

    Key project information can be viewed without opening the full record.

    The overview may include:

    • project status;

    • progress;

    • budget utilization;

    • project manager information;

    • project health indicators.

    This simplifies reviewing multiple projects and helps identify which ones require additional attention.

    Contextual Communication

    Teams can discuss tasks, project activities, and portfolio updates within a centralized workspace.

    When communication stays alongside portfolio data, the risk of losing context between emails, chats, and meetings is reduced.

    No-code customization

    Syntech Portfolio Insights can be configured directly in Creatio using the built-in interface.

    The solution can work with existing portfolio, program, and project sections, allowing it to adapt to the organization's current data structure and processes.

    Why portfolio visualization is important

    Portfolio management is not just about controlling the timely execution of individual projects.

    Executives and portfolio managers also need to understand:

    • whether resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities;

    • whether teams have sufficient capacity;

    • where the greatest workload is concentrated;

    • which projects are competing for the same specialists;

    • where risks might arise at the entire portfolio level.

    Without such context, each project individually might appear manageable, while the entire portfolio remains unbalanced.

    Matrix View and Grid View translate portfolio data into a format that facilitates analysis and helps make informed planning decisions.
